so, rush was crazy!! i never imagined it would be this stressful and exhausting on this side.  at least i didn't have to worry about getting into a house.  anyways, we have the most amazing new pledge class!! i am so excited! they are awesome.  it is really weird not being the new girls anymore.  i can't believe i have already been in alpha chi for 1 year.  it has gone by so quickly! anyways, i completely lost my voice during rush.  then i started to get better, but this morning i woke up with horrible swollen glands and a fever.  so i went to the health center.  and found out i have strep throat!! it sucks so bad because it is bid week and i really want to go out with the girls! oh well, i went out monday and maybe i'll feel good enough to go out for an hour or two tomorrow.  oh yeah, i had to miss 2 classes today.  i kinda feel bad missing classes the first week.  i don't want my professors to think i skip all the time.  oh well.  i have so much reading to do this semester!! ahhhhh!!
